Demi Lovato just got pretty honest about an awkward encounter with a "fake" celeb at the Met Gala that was so unsettling she ended up having to head straight to an AA meeting.
"This one celebrity was a complete bitch and was miserable to be around," Demi shared with Billboard about the uncomfortable experience. "It was very cliquey. I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink."
Demi immediately texted her manager and headed to a 10pm AA meeting. It was so important she got there that she didn't even have time to ditch some of her über-expensive Met Gala duds.
"I changed my clothes, but I still had my diamonds on – millions of dollars of diamonds on in an AA meeting," Demi shared.
"And I related more to the homeless people in that meeting who struggled with the same struggles that I deal with than the people at the Met Gala – fake and sucking the fashion industry's dick."
Good for Demi for doing what she needed to do to stay sober – even if that means heading straight from the Met to an AA meeting. Now, the question is: who is this nameless celebrity that upset Demi?
