On the anniversary of Heath Ledger's death, Busy Philipps knew what Ledger's ex Michelle Williams needed: a shoulder to lean on.
Philipps posted a photo on Instagram of Williams leaning into her with her eyes closed, and captioned the picture, "It's ok."
Ten years have passed since Ledger died on January 22, 2008 at the age of 28, after going into cardiac arrest as a result of prescription drug intoxication.
Ledger and Williams dated after meeting on the set of their 2005 film Brokeback Mountain and welcomed daughter Matilda in October 2005. They separated in September 2007.

In 2016, Williams opened up about Ledger's untimely death and being a single mother to Matilda.

Philipps, who is Matilda's godmother, met Williams on the set of Dawson's Creek in 2001.
The actresses have maintained a close friendship ever since and often appear on red carpets and social media together, like in the throwback photo below.
Williams and Philipps will both appear in the 2018 film I Feel Pretty, starring Amy Schumer.
