Gwyneth Paltrow's got a lot of good stuff going on right now. She's engaged. GOOP has a magazine. And she's on the cover of the magazine's new Sex & Love issue with fiancé Brad Falchuk.

The magazine, which hit newsstands on Tuesday, features a candid interview with Gwyneth, who split from Chris Martin in 2014 and began dating Brad the following year.

"Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be," she said in the issue. "I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy."

Of her divorce, which famously popularised the phrase "conscious uncoupling", Gwyneth admitted that it took some time for her to understand what the split actually meant. "This used to feel like a failure; it took me a while to reframe that divorce isn't a failure," she said.

With her current relationship, Gwyneth explains that things are much different, especially in the intimacy department.

"For the first time, I feel like I'm in an adult relationship that is sometimes very uncomfortable – because he sort of demands a certain level of intimacy and communication that I haven't been held to before.

"What came up in the first couple of years of our relationship was how incapable I was in this realm – how I feared intimacy and communication."

The release of GOOP Magazine's new issue also came with a fun video with Gwyneth's future husband.

In the video, appropriately titled 'How Goopy Is Brad Falchuk?', the TV producer reveals that Gwyneth gives him the side-eye whenever he's in the kitchen, that she loves to eat fried food, and that the couple loves going out to dinner.

The couple confirmed their engagement on Monday. Via Good Morning America, Gwyneth and Brad said: "We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship."
