True Blood actress Rutina Wesley has announced she is engaged to her partner, coming out at the same time.
She is tying the knot with girlfriend Shonda, a New Orleans-based culinary guru. Congrats, guys!

Wesley posted a series of photos on Instagram sharing the news. In the first image, she shared the quote: "Overthinking is the biggest cause of our unhappiness. Keep yourself occupied. Keep your mind off things that don't help you."
She followed this up with loved-up shots of the pair together, and a special one of a gorgeous diamond ring on her finger.
The actress, who stars as Nova Bordelon on Oprah Winfrey-produced drama Queen Sugar, has been posting several photos of the couple in recent days along with romantic quotes.
"You are the sunshine of my life…." she captioned a shot of the duo in a car.
Wesley was previously married to actor Jacob Fishel, after meeting when attending the Juilliard acting school in New York. They were married for eight years before Wesley filed for divorce.
After appearing as Tara Thornton in all seven seasons of True Blood, Wesley has gone on to star in Hannibal and more recently in Arrow as Liza Warner.
