Alexandra Breckenridge has a sweet gig on NBC's smash hit This Is Us. She gets to play the other half to Justin Hartley's Kevin Pearson and be a part of the weepiest show on TV.
But she recently revealed in an interview with Us Weekly that she thought she'd put her job in jeopardy after she got pregnant.
"I was like, 'I'm gonna get fired'. I was scared to tell [producers] because I thought it would cause issues for production," revealed Breckenridge, who also starred on The Walking Dead.
Acting history has been filled with cases of stars hiding their baby bumps on screen, and obviously, pregnancy discrimination is decidedly illegal.
Luckily, Breckenridge didn't run into any issues breaking the news to show creator Dan Fogelman, saying: "I called Dan and said, 'I'm sorry. I'm pregnant'. He was just like, 'Oh, that's amazing! Congratulations!' He's so nice."
This will be Breckenridge's second child with guitarist Casey Hooper, and she changed up her normal pregnancy routines to play better with the show's production by easing up on her ice cream cravings, saying: "This time around I'm working, and I wanted to make production's job easier at hiding my pregnancy!"

Speaking of the show though, Breckenridge did drop a titbit about her character Sophie's relationship with Kevin.
"Kevin and Sophie, they've loved each other since they were kids," she said. "They've been off and on since they were children.
"I think that eventually it's gonna work out for them, or at least I hope it does. I think they have a bond that's kind of unbreakable."
This Is Us airs on NBC in the US and on Channel 4 in the UK.
