If you don't fondly remember Kelis's sexy-sweet jam 'Milkshake', that's a damn shame because the song, released in 2003, remains one of the most iconic sexy food-based songs ever released.
It also features an equally iconic video:
Of course, the part of the song most people remember is the chorus: "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard / And they're like, it's better than yours / Damn right it's better than yours / I can teach you, but I have to charge."
More than a decade later, Kelis has finally made good on that last part by releasing an actual milkshake recipe.
As part of a collaboration with Bailey's – as well as a teaser for her upcoming cookbook My Life on a Plate: Recipes From Around the World – the musician (who once released an album called Food and even cooked at its launch party) shared a recipe that combines Bailey's coffee liqueur, ginger beer (!), chocolate ice cream, candied ginger, cayenne, chili cinnamon and ginger-infused whipped cream.
Separately, they all sound amazing... and yep, they also sound incredible together.
