Caitlyn Jenner is somehow surprised that Donald Trump is not being more supportive of the LGBTQ community.

The reality television star, who has always been vocal about her Republican views, has criticised the President after he revoked Obama's legislation that transgender students should be allowed to use public-school bathrooms and locker-rooms according to their gender identity.

She described the new administration as "bullies" in a video shared on Twitter.

"I have a message for President Trump, from one Republican to another," said Jenner. "This is a disaster. And you can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me."

Jenner had an empowering statement for all transgender men and women – don't give up hope.

"I have a message for the trans kids of America: you're winning. I know it doesn't feel like it today or every day, but you're winning," Jenner said.

She has, until now, been supportive of Trump, and was seen at his inauguration ball last month. In June 2016, she described how the President "is very much for women" and understanding towards the LGBTQ community.

"He seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue," she said in an interview with Stat. "He backed the LGBT community.

"But in Trump's case, there's a lot more unknowns. With Hillary [Clinton], you pretty much know what you're gonna get with the LGBT community."
