Eggheads star CJ de Mooi has said that his arrest earlier this year was all caused by false claims made about him on Wikipedia.
The former quiz master was subjected to a European Arrest Warrant, after apparently revealing an altercation with a mugger that may have resulted in the unknown man's death when he was homeless in Amsterdam.

In October, de Mooi's lawyer argued that the warrant should be dismissed, and the judge ruled that he would not be extradited to the Netherlands.
Now, he's released a video claiming that the ordeal was caused by false information published about him on Wikipedia.
"They claimed that in my autobiography I wrote that I killed a man, I left him for dead, I punched him in the face [and] left him unconscious," de Mooi says in the clip. "I didn't. Nowhere in my book does it say that.
"If you please just read the book, all it says is a guy came up behind me with a knife and tried to mug me. The words in the autobiography are, 'I half punched, half pushed him into the canal and walked away'. That is all it says.
"This warrant and a lot of the press and a lot of the police investigation seems to be based on what somebody else wrote about me on Wikipedia. Literally. The warrant and the press coverage states my real name as Joseph Connagh. It has never been that in my life.
"It states that my birthday is November 6 – it isn't. It states a lot of personal information which is completely wrong. Somebody wrote this about me on Wikipedia and this warrant has picked it up and said, 'This must be true'."
The Eggheads star went on to talk about the implications the arrest has had on his career, explaining: "I haven't earned a single penny for 11 months now and am getting turned down for work all the time because of all this negative publicity."
