Martine McCutcheon and Mick Hucknall's beef over vomit-covered dreadlocks is the perfect tale of celebrity romance. It's all fine and civil until someone says your nausea was nothing more than a "sad little fantasy".
And now Martine has added further fuel to the fire by defiantly saying her original story about being sick all over her then-date Mick is true... despite what he's been saying.
The former EastEnders actress told the anecdote on Loose Women over the summer while regaling them with the story of their infamous 1996 date.
Mick was for some reason incensed by Martine's frankly amazing anecdote and lashed out at her on Twitter, saying she was actually sick all over his chauffeur's car and that he didn't even have dreadlocks at the time.
"Time to stop dining out on a lie. You vomited all over my driver's car, not my hair. He was furious," the Simply Red singer said.
"You were so paralytic we had to put you to bed. As he will attest to. It's a cheap, face saving story."

Mick was so keen to debunk Martine's story he even shared photographic evidence that his hair was dreads-free in 1996.
Well, Martine is not best pleased with being called a liar and has once again professed the truth of the story.
"I haven't seen him since [the spat]," she told new! magazine. "I got the length of his hair wrong but the rest of it is completely right and I stand by what I said.
"I don't know why he wants to rewrite history, but there you go. It's my embarrassment, not his, so I don't know what the issue is. I thought I could just laugh at it and not take it so seriously."
Back to you, Mick...
