Louis Walsh has revealed that he would consider assisted suicide to avoid being put in a nursing home.

The X Factor judge, back on the panel after a year out, told Digital Spy that he feels the same way as Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan - who said in 2014 that they had agreed an assisted suicide pact if one of them fell seriously ill.

"Yes, I would," he said, when asked if he would follow in their footsteps. "I've thought about that.

"I don't want to hang around in a wheelchair in a nursing home. I don't. I don't want to be like that.

"I have thought about it recently. I would take some pills and fly off. That's why we have to enjoy ourselves while we are here."

In an extremely candid chat with us, Louis also dished dirt on the future of One Direction and threw some major shade at Kanye West.
