By Dannii Minogue has congratulated Rachel Adedeji, after the former X Factor contestant was announced to have joined Hollyoaks.
The Australian took some time out of her schedule to tweet her delight at the casting news.
Minogue mentored Adedeji on the sixth series of The X Factor back in 2009, when Adedeji finished ninth. Joe McElderry won that year.
Adedeji will play the real Lisa Loveday, and has already started filming at the show's set in Liverpool.
Hollyoaks fans have already been introduced to Sonia Albright - an impostor who is pretending to be Lisa. But the real Lisa will prove to be just as troublesome.
Billed as a loud and brassy party animal, Lisa will cause a huge stir as she reunites with her loved ones for the first time in 14 years.
