John Lydon has said he has no intention of changing his lifestyle regardless of his age.
The Public Image Limited frontman - who turned 60 today (January 31) - told GQ that he is not interested in quitting smoking and drinking in an effort to be healthy.
While still smoking is "a challenge", Lydon said that he wants to continue the "fun" things in life.
He said: "If I can't enjoy being alive, then I don't want to be alive. And, drinking and cigarettes and having fun and staying up for endless days - these are all great attractions to me."
Questioned on how his years of partying had affected him, Lydon said: "It's made me a better person."
The singer, who broke into music as Johnny Rotten in the Sex Pistols, also said that he's not interested in exercise.
