The former NBA player and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian is said to be in a critical condition and breathing with the assistance of machines at a Las Vegas hospital. He was reportedly found unconscious at a brothel.
Sheriff Sharon A Wehrly said that two brothel employees reported that Odom was using cocaine on Saturday. Las Vegas police are to test his blood to determine if he overdosed on drugs or alcohol.
Odom's rep released a statement earlier: "Please don't listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family's privacy during this difficult time."
The 35-year-old has allegedly battled drug addiction since before his career in the NBA finished in 2014.
The Kardashian family broke their silence over his hospitalisation earlier. Kris Jenner has also posted the following image to Instagram, with the caption: "Please pray for Lamar #OurFighter"
Kardashian and Odom separated in 2013 after four years of marriage, with their divorce finalised this year.
