Bill Cosby is facing possible criminal charges over an alleged sexual assault that took place in 2008.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney confirmed that local police have turned over their results of an investigation into the alleged incident, involving model Chloe Goins when she was 18 years old.
Goins alleges that Cosby gave her a drink which caused her to black out at a 2008 Playboy party and she later woke up half-naked with him, according to the LA Times.
Cosby has denied being at the party at all. He has denied all allegations levied against him, and has not been criminally charged.
The actor, 78, has been accused by at least 50 women of inappropriate sexual behaviour. The majority of accusations relate to incidents which happened in the '70s and '80s, meaning Cosby would be unlikely to be prosecuted due to legal restrictions.
This week, three more women came forward with further allegations of sexual assault and harassment.
Brown University recently rescinded an honorary degree for Cosby in the wake of the scandal.
