Emma Thompson has hit out at sexism in the movie industry
The actress told Radio Times that the problem is worse than when she was starting out.

"I think it's still completely s**t, actually," she said.
"I don't think there's any appreciable improvement and I think that for women, the question of how they are supposed to look is worse than it was even when I was young. So, no, I am not impressed at all."
She added: "When I was younger I really did think we were on our way to a better world and when I look at it now, it is in a worse state than I have known it, particularly for women and I find that very disturbing and sad.

The 56-year-old actress also criticised the ageism that exists within the industry after being cast as a 77 year-old sex worker in her upcoming film The Legend of Barney Thomson.
Thompson said: "It is a bit ageist. It would be really nice to get someone who is actually 77 to play her, but it's a wildly comic role and I couldn't resist."
Robert Carlyle's directorial debut will receive its world premiere at this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), opening the 69th year of the event on Wednesday, June 17. It opens in cinemas on July 24.
In the same interview the actress also attacked the press for being "predominantly deeply reactionary and homogenised".
