The former Tool Academy host said that he was forced to apologise to the Location, Location, Location presenter following the interview.
When asked by Heat magazine what his worst interview was, the 35-year-old replied: "There was one that was just awful - Kirstie Allsopp."
Asked why, Edwards said: "Actually, I don't think I can say. What I can tell you is I had to text her to apologise, against my wishes.
"But, because I'm polite, I did it. But she never texted back. I didn't really mind texting her, but I think not texting back, even just to say, 'I received your text, thank you', is just rude."
Last year, Edwards reacted to a story in which Allsopp said that young women should have a baby by the age of 27 and shouldn't go to university with the reply: "PRICK."
