Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan and Gaz Beadle have revealed that the cast attempted to register as a serious political party.
The stars of the MTV reality show admitted to Digital Spy that their political ambitions were thwarted, after it was feared people would actually vote for them.
Hagan told DS: "They wouldn't let us because they were scared in case the 70% of the people that don't vote actually go and vote for us."
Asked if they thought they could win a local election if given the chance, Hagan replied: "I genuinely think we could win."
Meanwhile, Aaron Chalmers added: "I think we would win".
Gaz Beadle said: "We'd have all the 16-to-25 year olds who haven't got a f**king clue what the Labour party is and they'd just vote for us".
