Beautiful: The Carole King Musical star Katie Brayben has spoken of her excitement at being nominated for an Olivier Award.
The actress, who portrays the singer-songwriter in the new West End musical, told Digital Spy that she was "so proud" of the play.
Speaking exclusively to DS at today's Olivier Awards nominees announcement, the actress said of being shortlisted for Best Actress in a Musical: "I am absolutely over the moon.
"I can't really describe how I feel. I feel like this isn't my life. I'm so, so proud of Beautiful.
"It's so weird for us really because we've only just opened so we're just kind of settling in and then all this wonderful positivity," she continued.
"It's absolutely brilliant, but I think the show is fantastic and the performances in it are wonderful and I'm so glad it's getting that recognition from the Oliviers. It's really wonderful."
