Belinda Carlisle has completed a charity rickshaw ride in India raising money for Animal People Alliance.
Extreme weather conditions including torrential rain and lightning initially pushed back the start of the trip by 24 hours.
"Day 1 - Hysterical. Dodging toxic lakes, potholes, oxen, dogs, people, oncoming traffic. picked up a hitch hiker. Today on to Jaipur," wrote Carlisle on Twitter during the first leg of the journey.
After travelling from Chandigarh to Udaipur over the past week, the US star said that she was happy to have "made it in one piece".
The 'Valentine' singer added that she could not believe her two-month trip to the country was coming to an end.
The performer recently admitted that she would like to star in a Bollywood film with one of the industry's biggest stars Salman Khan.
Carlisle flies from Delhi to London early next week for a series of concerts in the UK at the Hippodrome and in Bognor Regis.
