Belinda Carlisle has said that she lived in India in a former life.
The Live Your Life Be Free and 'Love Never Dies' singer said that even as a very young child she felt an attachment to the country.

The popstar told Digital Spy: "When I was a little girl I used to sit and look at pictures of Varanasi and it felt familiar back then. I have been here many lifetimes before, no question."
Carlisle also felt that she had lived in the historic quarters of the Indian capital in an earlier lifetime.
"I am really drawn especially to Old Delhi. It feels familiar," she said.

"It's a beautiful city and where I usually base myself when I am in India. I love this city, it's got a unique sort of energy and lot of history."
Since arriving in the country at the start of the year, Carlisle has travelled to Delhi, Mumbai, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Udaipur and Kolkata.
The US singer is about to set off on a charity auto-rickshaw ride from Chandigarh to Udaipur in the first week of March to raise money for Animal People Alliance.
