By Zooey Deschanel has announced that she is now engaged.
A representative for the New Girl star confirmed to Us Weekly that she is planning to wed her film producer boyfriend Jacob Pechenik.
Earlier this month, Deschanel revealed that she is expecting her first child with Pechenik.
"Jacob and I are over the moon," she said. "We are so excited to meet our little one."
Deschanel and Pechenik have been dating since the middle of 2014.
Deschanel, who also performs as part of She & Him, was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard from September 2009 to December 2012.
