Matthew McConaughey has delivered an inspiring pep talk to an American football team.
The Oscar-winning actor arrived to rally the University of Texas's Longhorns with a rousing speech.
Urging the squad to question themselves, he asked: "Why am I doing this? Why do I come out to practice? Why am I out here busting my ass in the middle of the heat everyday?'"
He continued: "Some of you may play because you love football. Some of you may play for your grandmother. Some of you may play for your older brother, your dad. Some of you may play for the coaches. Some of you may play for the university.
"At the end of the day every single one of you has really only got to be playing for one person.
"Because when you do well, you feel it and you can look in the mirror and you go, 'That's right. I earned that. I did that'."

The Magic Mike star then concluded his speech by inviting the squad to join him in performing his famous chest-thumping routine from the film The Wolf of Wall Street.
The Longhorns had only triumphed once this season before McConaughey's speech, but they went on to win 23-0 against the Kansas Jayhawks in their following match.
