Kristen Stewart has revealed that she finds acting 'incredibly lonely'.
The actress - who soared to fame as Bella Swan in the Twilight series - will soon appear in the upcoming drama Clouds of Sil Maria as Valentina, the assistant to a similarly successful leading lady.
Speaking to The Independent's Radar magazine, Stewart said that she has found acting to be a solitary profession.
''Actors become super-isolated," she explained. "Again, I'm not complaining about it, it's just that you have a very unique perspective on things because people don't talk to you, they feel like they are not allowed to come up to you and say 'hi'.
''So suddenly you're incredibly lonely and people hire friends to have, and what happens is the lines get blurred between co-workers and friends.''
The 24-year-old went on to say that the relationship between Valentina and her movie star boss Maria Enders, played by Juliette Binoche, is comparably unusual.

''They are not friends. They're not coworkers. They're not girlfriends," she continued.
"They're not mother and daughter or vice versa. They're just f**king all of it, and it's so weird.''
