Bradley Cooper is set to star in a Broadway revival of The Elephant Man, it has been announced.

The Hangover star played the role of John Merrick, a 19th-century British man who suffered from elephantiasis, in 2012 at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

According to Playbill, the Broadway production will have a 13-week engagement starting on November 13.

Other members of the cast include Patricia Clarkson, Alessandro Nivola, Anthony Heald, Scott Lowell, Kathryn Meisle and Henry Stram.

Previews for The Elephant Man begin in October in New York City.

Meanwhile, Cooper is currently filming American Sniper with Sienna Miller.
