David Schwimmer has reportedly aided police in solving a recent stabbing case in New York City.
The former Friends actor showed key surveillance video footage of an assault to the NYPD, E! Online reports.
The incident occurred at 5:40am on the first floor of a building near Schwimmer's New York City home.
Footage from the video footage apparently shows a drunken argument between a male prostitute and a customer that culminated with the stabbing.
The prostitute was rushed to Beth Israel Medical Center for cuts to the arm, while the customer was taken to Bellevue Hospital to be treated for stab wounds to the face.
Schwimmer's surveillance footage reportedly helped cops corroborate the differing stories of both men, who are now in police custody.
