Chris Brown's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy has been found guilty of assault.
Judge Patricia Wynn convicted Hollosy of misdemeanour assault at his trial in Washington's Superior Court today (April 21).
Brown is also due to stand trial over the same charge after the trial in Washington's Superior Court over accusations that they punched a man outside the W Hotel in Washington, DC.
Court papers say that the victim's nose was broken in the incident.
The man claims that both men punched him after he tried to get in a photograph Brown was taking with two women.
Hollosy reportedly told the police that he punched the man when the latter tried to board Brown's tour bus, while Brown denies punching the man.

Brown's trial is expected to begin immediately now that Hollosy's case has been resolved.
The singer's charge for felony assault was reduced to a misdemeanour at a hearing soon after his arrest.
Brown has been in custody since March 14 after he violated his probation while staying at a Malibu rehab facility.
Hollosy is due to be sentenced on June 25.
