Speaking to the Daily Mail, Keegan admitted she isn't worried about facing unemployment following her departure. She said: "There's no plan. I'm going to go with the flow and if I get another job straight away, great, but if I don't then I don't. I have things in the pipeline but nothing's set in stone."
She also spoke about former successes from Coronation Street, saying: "Suranne Jones went on to do amazing things, and Katherine Kelly hasn't stopped working since leaving. I'd love to follow suit. I'd like to do a bit of drama, a bit of comedy. Lots of variation, ideally."
Keegan, who got engaged to former TOWIE star Mark Wright after nine months of dating, added that getting married is top of her list.
"The idea of marriage is so appealing and with Mark I knew straight away," she said.
Explaining that she would also like to have four children, she commented: "My mum's told me how exhausting it is but when the time comes I'll be ready."
Keegan recently spoke about the upcoming storyline that sees Tina taking a pregnancy test to discover whether she is expecting Peter Barlow's baby.
