Held at the VIP suite in London's O2 immediately after the ceremony, the NTAs bash was a chance for the winners to toast their success and the losers to drown their sorrows - and it should come as no surprise that it was the famously 'up for a laugh' soap stars from Hollyoaks, Corrie, et al that were first at the bar after the show.

In fact, the soap stars were itching to get up and boogie before the ceremony had even ended, with Emmerdale's Charley Webb (Debbie Dingle) lapping up Sam Bailey's performance of 'Power of Love', clambering over the seats and lip syncing along into an imaginary microphone.
And even though they ran the very real risk of bumping into each other at the event, recently divorced soap pair Kym Marsh and Jamie Lomas seemed determined to make the most of the party, both of them staying until at least midnight. We hope Kym didn't spot this Instagram post from Lomas's rumoured new girlfriend Chloe Peers and was able to full enjoy her evening.

Also enjoying some female attention at the NTAs after-party were TOWIE stars Joey Essex and Tom Pearce. Casually reclining against the bar, the duo seemed to be constantly surrounded by glamorous ladies wanting a picture, and were more than happy to stop and chat with the particularly photogenic ones. Maybe it was all these distractions that caused Joey to lose his NTA.
In another public display of affection, the ceremony's host Dermot O'Leary and Miranda hunk Tom Ellis were spotted having an almighty, lengthy manhug that, truth be told, sent our hearts a-fluttering just a little bit. We hope Charlie Condou doesn't get jealous!

Elsewhere, our fears of an I'm a Celebrity feud were quelled when we spotted Lucy Pargeter nattering with fellow campmate Rebecca Adlington. Viewers may have spotted that Lucy failed to join the rest of her I'm a Celebrity campmates on stage when they collected the Entertainment Programme award, despite having already arrived at the ceremony. But rest assured, all is well with the ladies of the jungle and Lucy and Rebecca were soon having a little dance together in a quiet bit of the after-party venue.
Also wanting a bit of privacy was Caroline Flack. We spotted the Xtra Factor host - who looked mighty foxy in an all-white short suit - literally tucked away under the stairs at the start of the evening, and we didn't spot her again after that. We're not sure if she ducked out early or if we just couldn't see the dinky star through the crowd, but all we're saying is once you've taken a selfie with Joey Essex and Keith Lemon, your night's sort of peaked, hasn't it?
Similarly, Kimberley Wilson from The Great British Bake Off seemed a bit overwhelmed by this crazy celebrity world she'd been propelled into, and chose to kick back alone on the sofas with a mini dessert rather than schmooze. Kimberley, by the way, was not the most random spot of the night - that would be 'The Beast' from The Chase (who apparently sometimes goes by the name Mark Labbett).
One thing we love most about the National Television Awards is the bizarre combinations of celebrities you see hanging out together. For instance, during the ceremony we spotted Billy Mitchell (aka Perry Fenwick) having a whale of a time with Christine Bleakley, while at the after-party we saw Danielle Lloyd and Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson hanging out. We literally have no idea how the Splash! and Strictly stars became so pally - maybe Danielle is about to cameo as a new McQueen sister?
Aaaand, that's just about it for the NTAs after-party scoop. We don't think anything else of note happened during the event... oh, wait, except maybe Steven Moffat zipping about on the back of a (willing) pal's mobility scooter.
