Rav Wilding is said to be seriously ill after suffering an injury while training for the current series of Splash!.
The TV star was forced to pull out of Tom Daley's diving show, which returned to ITV last night (January 4), after sustaining a hamstring avulsion in December.
Wilding underwent surgery on his leg and was thought to be making a good recovery until he was rushed to hospital on New Year's Eve after complaining of chest pains, reports The Mirror.
After initially being discharged and sent home, the presenter returned to A&E the following day, where it was discovered that he was suffering from a blood clot on his lung caused by post-surgery complications.
Wilding is said to be seriously ill, with his rep confirming last night: "He is in a really bad way right now."
Yesterday (January 4), the 36-year-old's fiancée, Loose Women producer Jill Morgan, confirmed that he is recovering at home.
