'TOWIE' Sam Faiers not watching Joey Essex on 'I'm a Celebrity'

The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers has revealed that she is not watching her ex-boyfriend Joey Essex on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

In an interview with This Morning, Faiers explained that although she is normally a fan of the show, her recent breakup with Essex - who was her co-star on The Only Way Is Essex - means she has avoided watching him in the jungle.

She said: "It's one of my favourite programmes but obviously when you still have feelings for someone that's an ex, I just didn't feel the need to watch it because it might play on my mind more.

"I will always wish him the best of luck and just because I'm not watching and tweeting ten times a night when it's on, doesn't mean that I don't support him... I do still love him."

Faiers also dismissed the suggestions of romance between Essex and his campmate Amy Willerton.

Speaking about the two, she explained: "If I'm completely honest, I do think that she might be playing up to it a little bit only because of how popular Joey is. He's so popular in everything that he does but at the same time why wouldn't she flirt with him?

"[The producers] probably thought it'd go further but...I don't think so."

Joey's sister Frankie previously said she thought Willerton was "too boring" for her brother to have a relationship with.
