Brown and a second man - believed to be one of the singer's bodyguards - were arrested and charged this morning (October 27), the Washington Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed. Both are accused of attacking a man at a hotel.
The altercation is alleged to have taken place outside the W Hotel at around 4.30am local time on Sunday.
The other person involved is being evaluated at a hospital, according to TMZ.
Brown is still on probation in relation to his 2009 assault of Rihanna. The arrest could be considered as a violation of his probation.
He had been hosting an event in Washington, DC at the Park and 14th nightclub before the alleged incident.
