Paul O'Grady has teamed up with Amanda Holden as part of a campaign to urge others to help feed abandoned dogs.

The celebrity pair are helping with Pedigree's 'Feeding Brighter Futures' campaign, which aims to feed rescue dogs as they wait to find permanent homes with new families.

O'Grady, who is a long-standing supporter of animal charities, said: "I got together with Amanda Holden because we're both passionate about dogs.

"It's about Feeding Brighter Futures. My dogs are rescue dogs, one of them from Battersea.

"Pedigree are going to feed dogs. You see a nice pack of Pedigree food, and if you buy that pack, Pedigree then promise to donate a meal to a rescue dog."

The 58-year-old has taken part in several documentaries on rescue dogs including For the Love Of Dogs, which was nominated for a BAFTA and won a National Television Award.
