David Beckham and Pippa Middleton have topped a poll to find which celebrities Britons are most likely to daydream about.
The 'Daydreamer Survey 2013' discovered that footballer and model Beckham is the most popular daydream celebrity for men, while Pippa Middleton tops the table for female daydreaming.
The study, conducted by hotel chain Travelodge, revealed that 80% of Britons daydream at work four times a day on average.
Females were found to dream about Geordie singer Cheryl Cole and older men like music mogul Simon Cowell, while men are more interested in thinking about food-loving temptress Nigella Lawson and "getting intimate" with Kelly Brook.
Psychologist Corinne Sweet said: "Many of us daydream about being celebs, living their lifestyles or going out with them as a means of escaping from our everyday lives.
"Celebrities can provide glamorous role models, or examples of excellence and success."

The survey also revealed that the most popular daydreaming theme for men and women is being on holiday.
