Mick Jagger has denied that he is planning to marry his girlfriend in the near future.
Stylist L'Wren Scott has been spotted sporting a new ring on her engagement finger this week, leading to speculation that the couple ready to tie the knot. The reports were enhanced by a friend of Jagger, who mused:
“It is interesting that L'Wren has on this occasion - a very public event in New York - decided to wear a ring on her engagement finger so obviously. If they are not engaged, they are certainly happy for the world to think they are. They are both savvy enough to realise what speculation such a pose may attract."
Last night, however, a spokesman for the singer insisted the couple, who have been together for two years, were not planning a wedding at all.
