Former '90s popstars B*Witched have warned One Direction against the perils of fame.
The girl group - made up of Edele and Keavy Lynch, Sinead O'Carroll and Lindsay Armaou - told Heat they fear for the wellbeing of the global boyband after suffering themselves.
Having admitted to going through depression and substance abuse, Edele said of the younger stars: "Going forward, I think bands need support from day one."
Currently starring in ITV2's The Big Reunion, Keavy added: "A record deal should come with counselling."
Asked if One Direction will need counselling in future, they replied: "Yes. They're so young."
Keavy said: "Boys hold a lot more in. You do hope that they get more personal time than we did. Every waking moment, someone wanted a piece of you in one way or another. It just got too much in the end.
