Harry Potter duo Tom Felton and Josh Herdman enjoyed a catch-up in Düsseldorf last week.

Recognised for portraying House Slytherin bullies Draco Malfoy and Gregory Goyle in the iconic wizarding movie series, they're clearly still great pals despite going their separate ways over a decade ago.

Captioning a selfie from their reunion, Felton wrote on Instagram: "To my right hand man. Literally through every film, always had my back. Such a pleasure to be reunited this weekend with this legend. Send some love to my man @josh_herdman_official."

As for whether the pair were spotted by fans out on the German streets, Felton previously revealed to Square Mile that this rarely happens these days.

"I get the best of both worlds. I take the Tube, I take the bus, I walk my dog in the park. I saw Emma [Watson] the other night – she looks exactly the same as she did 10 years ago. It's almost impossible for her not to be spotted," said the actor.

But for Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets director Christopher Columbus's preference, Felton may have even played Harry Potter in the JK Rowling adaptations.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Columbus recalled: "Tom was a great actor as well, so we thought, let's just dye Tom's hair, give him a scar, give him the glasses and let's see.

"He did a great Harry Potter reading. The problem is you can really kind of tell when an 11- or 12-year-old kid's hair is dyed. He was so good at Malfoy. I just couldn't pass that up. I knew Tom had to play Malfoy."
