Tickets for Girls Aloud's 2024 reunion tour are going on general sale at 9am this morning (December 1).

The members of the legendary girl group — Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Tweedy and Kimberley Walsh — had initially planned to tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their formation on Popstars: The Rivals, but the tragic passing of Sarah Harding put those plans on ice.

However, a combination of Sarah's wishes for them to perform together again and the four girls coming together to fundraise in her memory led them to make this reunion happen.

Titled The Girls Aloud Show, the 15-date tour will take place across May and June next year. Pre-sale tickets became available on (Wednesday, November 29) and general sale tickets will be available via outlets including Ticketmaster.

In an interview with BBC News last week, the girl group confirmed that there's no new music happening and that recent tabloid reports of a music video shoot were actually the now-released trailer for the tour.

What to Read Next

"Making new music without Sarah would be odd," Cheryl explained. "But celebrating what we made together? Fabulous."

Nadine heavily implied that Sarah's original vocals will remain in the show, as she stated: "There's so many things that are just iconically Sarah, that have to remain Sarah.

"We're not going to mess with that. I'm not going to start taking over Sarah's big bits. Girls Aloud wouldn't be what it was without Sarah and everything she added to it."

The girls also stated that they'll play "all the hits" and "a few favourites". This has already led to intense speculation in the fanbase that songs like 'Swinging London Town', 'Every Now and Then' and 'Memory of You' could finally be performed live.

In the interview, Cheryl also briefly floated the idea of performing some of the verses from the alternate demo versions of the hits (some of which were released as B-sides or leaked online).

However, she backtracked, saying she felt "some people would get mad if they didn't hear their favourite part" from the final versions.
