Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry has partnered with BBC 1Xtra to launch a new podcast.

Nathan and co-host Ro Frimpong from the Two Two's Podcast will lead the podcast, which will see them work with astrologist Celestial Tree.

BBC 1Xtra has said that the Black, queer dating podcast called Swipe Your Sign is the "first of its kind". The 12-part series will give listeners a glimpse into the duo's dating lives as they each go on blind dates, with candidates chosen based on their zodiac signs.

Before each date, the hosts will speak to Celestial and get an oracle card reading and expert analysis of their astrological charts. The pair will then head off to meet their cosmic match.

On the date, the couples will be asked questions and discuss current dating issues and 'icks'. Nathan and Ro will then break down their dates with Celestial and receive feedback before their next encounter.

On the podcast, Nathan said: "I'm actually honoured to have been a part of something so exciting and something so new and refreshing. It's the first podcast of its kind and it's going to be really interesting to hear what people think of it.

"I know this may sound bias, but out of all the podcasts I've ever done, this was the most fun to record! It's so authentic and the topics we discuss are things I am genuinely so passionate about."

Ro added: "'What star sign are you?' is the starting dialogue for many queer love stories! I am so honoured to be co-hosting a podcast that has a theme that has never been done before but loads of people would heavily relate to. It's giving SAUCY!"

Nathan is looking for loving, having previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating, as well as other reality shows such as The Challenge and I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Australia.

Swipe Your Sign is available on BBC Sounds.
