First Dates star Fred Sirieix has good reason to be over the moon right now – his daughter Andrea has won a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Fred wasted no time in expressing his joy, as he posted a picture of his daughter holding the medal and the Commonwealth Games mascot toy in her hands on Instagram.
"I have been replaying yesterday's event on a loop in my head non stop," he wrote.
"That last dive! 🤩 To pull it off like this! Wow! Wow! Wow! Truly the stuff of champions! 🥇👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 @andreassirieix04 #goAndrea🦆❤️ #diving #10m #platform#commonwealthgames2022" he added.

Andrea won a gold medal in the 10m platform at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Fred also spoke to the BBC right after his daughter's historic win, saying with visible elation and pride: "I feel like a king! I feel like a king!"
"It's the Commonwealth Games, and my daughter gets gold. It can't get better than this, can it?" he added.
"She lives and breathes diving," said the proud dad, who was there to cheer his daughter on at the Games, "She won and, phew, I can relax! Brilliant."
Fred received lots of well wishes from fans and colleagues on social media, congratulating him on his daughter's big win.
Professional boxer Michael Conlan wrote: "Welcome to the clubs Andrea! Congratulations Fred to all the family."

While boxer John Ryder wrote: "Congratulations Fred you must be so proud."
It was announced back in June that Fred and his fiancée, whom he only refers to publicly as Fruitcake, will be joining the fourth series of Celebrity Gogglebox.
According to The Sun, he is "delighted to be joining the Celebrity Gogglebox-ers for this series."
"It's going to be very surreal being on the show having been critiqued a number of times in the regular series," he continued.
"I am looking forward to the public getting to meet the wonderful Fruitcake too," he said.
First Dates airs on Channel 4.
