Tom Hanks has revealed what the Queen's favourite cocktail is – and she shares it with a certain fictional British spy.
The actor appeared on The One Show where he reminisced about the state banquet he attended in 2011 to welcome the Obamas to the UK.
Hanks was sat next to the Queen and said: "The chit chat with the Queen is something you have to get ready for.

"I knew I was going to be sitting next to her so I wanted to be able to talk about things that were important but not presumptuous. We spoke about how often she gets time off, et cetera."
He then explained: "Out of nowhere, I noticed this gloved hand place a tumbler of clear liquid between me and Her Royal Majesty. But it wasn't in a water glass, so I dared to ask the Queen, 'what is Her Majesty's cocktail of choice?' and she said 'ooh, martini'."
That's right, 007 and the Queen not only share their place in British history but their favourite drink as well.

Hanks's most recent project was playing Elvis Presley's manager Colonel Tom Parker for new biopic Elvis. The film recently screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Speaking about the controversy of his character's Dutch background, he said: "As far as his background, I think no one knew the Colonel's background. There are some extraordinary, tabloidy, melodramatic stories about why and how he left Holland.
"I'd like to think, yeah, he was running away from an aspect of his past and escaping his small town, and who among us wouldn't jump at an opportunity to do that very thing?"
Elvis is released in cinemas on June 24.
