The Only Way is Essex star Lucy Mecklenburgh has treated her fanbase to a baby scan and heartwarming update on her pregnancy.
She and fiancé Ryan Thomas announced they were expecting their second child together back in November last year, and on Instagram she recently shared her joy at her growing baby due in Spring.

"Best first photo of 2022," she wrote next to a heart emoji. "I'm not going to lie, I wasn't overjoyed with getting a scan [appointment] for January 1st 9am but let's face it, with a toddler I'd be up anyway and I wasn't going to be hungover.
"It turned out to be the most special gift to start the new year! Knowing my baby is healthy, growing and safe in my tummy #20weekscan #springbaby."
Thomas, who soap lovers will recognise as Weatherfield's Jason Grimshaw, replied in the comment section: "Special", while another message read: "Awwww what a great scan, so exciting".

Back in 2017, the engaged couple found a strange type of intimacy during their stint on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, before they'd even sparked any romance.
They have since gone on to welcome baby Roman to their family in 2020, with Lucy acknowledging the difficulty of becoming a first-time mum during lockdown.
"A lot of the times, especially if you've had a baby in lockdown, it's hard work sometimes. Sometimes you think, 'Is it only me that this has happened to?' but you realise that it's not just you, everyone goes through the same things."
