Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has announced that she is "taking a break".
The actress is best known for her role as the DC superhero, and she was most recently seen in the movies Wonder Woman 1984 and Zack Snyder's Justice League.
Posting on social media on Thursday evening (July 22), Gadot shared a selfie and mentioned that she was taking some time out, writing: "Taking a break, BRB."

Gadot didn't provide further details or specify how long the break would last. It is, however, very well deserved as she has several major projects lined up including Wonder Woman 3.
The actress also recently finished shooting Red Notice, and will next star in and co-produce an Apple TV+ limited series about actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr.
Last month, Gadot also welcomed her third baby with husband Jaron Varsano, sharing a rare and sweet picture of her entire family on Instagram.

The adorable family moment captures Gadot with Jaron and their daughters Alma, 9, and Maya, 4, as well as newborn Daniella.
Accompanying the photo, the caption read: "My sweet family I couldn't be more grateful and happy (and tired) we are all so excited to welcome Daniella into our family. I'm sending all of you love and health. GG."
Wonder Woman 1984 is out now in US cinemas and HBO Max. In the UK, it's available to rent at home now.
