Anne Hathaway has said that she only gets the roles that other, more famous actresses have turned down.
The Brokeback Mountain star revealed her theory that Hollywood film makers have a list of actresses which they work their way down - and her name is towards the bottom.
She said: "I'm on the long short list. But I'm not on the short short list, which is Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley."
However, she said that she is still thrilled to even be considered alongside such actresses: "I'm happy to be in the race with this level of people. I'm the person who gets the script three people after Natalie turns it down - that's awesome!"
