Producers of recent film The Break-Up almost did not ask Jennifer Aniston to audition for her role as they thought it would be a too sensitive topic for the actress due to her own split.
Aniston had very recently split up with husband Brad Pitt when casting for the movie began, and though producers thought she would be brilliant in the role they were reluctant to approach her.
However, the comic actress jumped at the chance to confront the issue once the producers had plucked up the courage to ask.
Aniston comments: "The producers were a little hesitant to come to me because they through there was no way I was going to want to do a movie about a break-up. But there is no better way to heal than laughter and making fun of something. So I was lucky.
"It was very cathartic. It was very healing. There was lots of laughter."
Aniston also met current boyfriend Vince Vaughn on the set of Break-Up.
