Doctor Who stars David and Georgia Tennant will soon be welcoming another heir or heiress to the TARDIS into time and space.

The couple are expecting their fifth child together! The happy news was revealed when David dropped by The Late Late Show with James Corden earlier this week to promote his new series Good Omens.

"Five is a lot," he joked. "What's really weird is we're now getting lectures on birth control from our 17-year-old son! And that's definitely meant to be the other way around!"

The couple met and fell in love after Georgia guest starred in classic Doctor Who episode 'The Doctor's Daughter' as the eponymous character back in 2007.

David would later adopt Georgia's older son Ty from a past relationship after they wed in 2012. The couple have since also been blessed to expand their family with three more children.

Not only is their marriage one of Doctor Who royalty, but Georgia also descends from the show's hallowed history as the child of Fifth Doctor actor Peter Davison. Yes, for those unaware — she's literally The Doctor's Daughter on screen and off!

Last year, Georgia returned to the Doctor Who franchise for a range of full-cast Big Finish audio adventures called Jenny – The Doctor's Daughter, as both a voice actress and an associate producer.
