Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their first child, a baby boy, last night.
Schumer shared the news on her Instagram, posting the first photo of her son with his parents. "10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born," she captioned the first family shot.
(Schumer gave birth to her baby just hours before Meghan Markle welcomed her and Prince Harry's son yesterday morning [May 6] in London. The Trainwreck actress confirmed she was having a baby boy earlier in the week.)
Schumer has documented her pregnancy thoroughly on her Instagram, and she had a little fun with Monday's Met Gala in the second Instagram she posted today. "Met look this year," she wrote. "Last night on the way to the hospital."
Schumer also responded to rumours going around that she had given birth last week by sharing a shot of herself still pregnant. "Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I've been pregnant for a long time?" she wrote. "It must be getting annoying to you all that I'm still pregnant. Well imagine how I feel mother f**kers!!!!!!"
Schumer announced her pregnancy in October on political journalist Jessica Yellin's Instagram, sharing the news she's pregnant at the end of her list of candidate recommendations for the 2018 midterm election.
