Kelsey Grammer's wife "stands to get half" of the actor's fortune, which is estimated at $40m (£26m).
Camille Donatacci filed for divorce from the Fraiser star last month, citing "irreconcilable differences".
Grammer then filed papers requesting that his wife should not be allowed to claim profits from the sitcom.
However, the New York Post reports that Donatacci may be eligible for half of his estate, because she part-owns his production company Grammnet Productions.
A source said: "Camille stands to get half of all syndication of Frasier made during the years they were married. That's seven years of episodes, as well as income from other shows the company made, including Medium and Girlfriends."
