Tom Colicchio has won Top Chef at the James Beard Awards.
The Top Chef judge is no stranger to 'the Oscars of Food', having won a variety of honours in recent years.
He has been a finalist for the biggest award seven times.
The cook had previously won 'Best Chef in New York City', 'Outstanding Service' and 'Best Cookbook' for 2001's Think Like A Chef.
The 'Top Chef' designation honours over ten years of service in the culinary arts.
