A new Whitney Houston greatest hits album will reportedly be released this autumn.

The exact tracklist and release date have not yet been confirmed, but the compilation is expected to span her entire career, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Houston's new set is expected to contain the original recordings of her biggest-selling singles, unlike her 2000 compilation The Greatest Hits, which featured several remixes.

The musician reached the top of the US singles charts 11 times over the course of her career, with her recording of 'The Star Spangled Banner' selling more than 1.2 million copies.

Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel in February. She was just 48 years old at the time of her death.

She was survived by daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who recently got the letters 'WH' tattooed on her arms as a tribute.
