Ellie Goulding delivered a relentlessly energetic performance at Virgin Media V Festival this afternoon.

Footage from the singer's previous live shows flashed across the screens before she bounded on stage and ripped into 'Outside'.

Goulding was joined on stage by her band and frequently bounded to the front of the stage to thrash on her own personal drum kit.

The singer also showed off her guitar skills at one point in her performance, donning an electric guitar for the end of her hit 'Burn'
